HOW TO COOK SAUSAGES?

Choose the way you like best

Frying

  • Remove from refrigeration 15 minutes before use and discard outer packaging
  • Put 1 tbsp oil into a heavy frying pan and place on a medium to high heat.
  • Add sausages to the pan (you do not need to prick the skins)
  • Cook for 10 – 12* minutes turning occasionally (this may be longer for larger sausages, you may wish to finish in a hot oven)
  • Ensure product is cooked through before eating.

Oven

  • Remove from refrigeration 15 minutes before use and discard outer packaging
  • Preheat oven to 200ºC or 400ºF
  • Lightly grease an oven dish/tray and place sausages ensuring a little space between each one. Brush with oil
  • Cook for 20 minutes and then turn
  • After 30-35* minutes the sausage will have a mid-brown colour
  • Ensure product is cooked through before eating.

Grilling

  • Remove from refrigeration 15 minutes before use and discard outer packaging
  • Preheat grill med-high (75%)
  • Place sausages on grill and brush with a little oil
  • Cook on one side for about 5 mins and then turn
  • Keep turning until sausages have an even brown colour
  • Ensure product is cooked through before eating

* If you have a temperature probe inner temperature should reach 70ºC (160ºF)
